| In 2006, Andrew Harding and Michael Palmer (Ceramics) held a joint exhibition with Matt Jobling (Glass) at the Belford Craft Gallery. Having their first exhibition in Northumberland, it was thought apt to take their inspiration from the country side, hence the Cup and Ring Marks incorporated into the design of the exhibition pieces; The marks date back to Neolithic times and can be found on many of the rocks in the area but unfortunately their meaning has been lost in the passage of time. Matt Jobling, Andrew Harding and Michael Palmer all sharing the same exhibition seemed very appropriate and made an exciting combination. |
